At first glance, Pamela Serure and Carole Isenberg seem like your typical vivacious women enjoying life to its fullest. However, at the young age of 47, Pamela experienced her first heart attack and received a triple bypass surgery. After this life changing event, Pamela was inspired to devote her talents and energies to becoming an advocate for raising awareness about heart disease. Enlisting her long time friend and colleague, Carole Isenberg, they formed the non-profit Events of the Heart, with the mission to create a voice for women and heart disease.
